I’m so delighted to be collaborating with my friends at Night & Day Studios. As if plucked from my list of dream jobs, I’m getting to illustrate and record music for three apps with this wonderful Portland company. Right now, we’re in production for the first app. But it’s truly a family operation at Night & Day, and consequently, our little household has contributed all sorts of things to the thoughtful, well-designed apps this creative house is generating. Check out all their apps to find music composed and performed by Seth and my first effort at voiceover. But perhaps my favorite app right now is an adaptation of Ed Emberley’s classic kids’ book, “Go Away Big Green Monster.” Through surprisingly little coaching, my daughter narrated a version of the story … and she killed it.
